56 frame measurement help !

Can someone who has a bare 55-56 frame get a measurement for me? With the frame sitting level front to back, is there a difference from the top to the floor at the very back compared to top to the floor in the middle of the frame?

So if both X's are the same height from the floor is distance A the same as B and X ?? Mine is lower at "A"

All help would be appreciated

Its the same up to the first X just forward of the front axle center line it slops down

That's what I thought it should be too, flat from front to rear except for the drop right at the front. But when I checked my frames they both seem to drop a bit at the very back (A) in the picture..... or maybe I should say droop??

I'm sure they all droop a little after all these years. If its not more that 1/2" I wouldn't worry about it or if it droops evenly I would'nt worry. The cross measure is more important if your starting a build with an after market suspension. I'll look in my books and see if I can get an actuall measurement for you.
