New Member Intro

Just wanted to introduce myself. I discovered this forum through a reference from another forum(metameet) regarding the great article sevt_chevelle wrote on fillerless dent repair. I had the truck in my avatar(1950), but ended up parting it out as the frame was shot and the cab, at that time needed almost $1000 in repro metal. I do have front fenders, grille, bed, rebuilt engine and some trim items, like the hood ornament. Hopefully I will find another some day. I am currently restoring two non-truck vehicles and am at the point of repairing prior, poorly repaired accident damage. Rust repair is finished. The paint and body forum has some great post unlike the forum for one of the cars I am restoring, where few of us do our own body work, thus no interest in a bodywork forum.
