Will there be a market for this?
Jes' surfin and one link lead to another...you know...and I came across this site
http://www.artmorrison.com/trucks.php Looks like he'll be making custom frames for our trucks soon. How do you reckon that'll pan out, and what would the advantages be? |

Re: Will there be a market for this?
I ride a Victory motorcycle and realize that it's a great thing when a vendor makes a product for any particular vehicle. So, I reckon in that regard it's a good thing they plan on building something for our year trucks. I guess it'll be for more custom trucks than mine.
I'd rather find a good set of back window louvers though.... ![]() |

Re: Will there be a market for this?
It would probably be very expensive but would probably ride like a new present day truck .

Re: Will there be a market for this?
Judging by his efforts for other models, the new frame should have a great ride and handle like a sports car.
Barry but it will be pricey!

Re: Will there be a market for this?
I agree totally. I don't think it'll be much of a market for our truck frames as compared to 1st gen Camaros, Barracudas, 55-57 Chevy's, Fastback Mustangs, etc. Our trucks don't really bring big money like those cars. Therefore, I don't see a guy spending $10,000-$15,000 on a frame for a truck. Sure, there will be some buyers. But, not as many as the muscle car genre. Just my opinion.

Re: Will there be a market for this?
i dont think i want to add up how much i have in my frame !!! it might have made more sense to buy a $10000 frame and saved the time and headache !! for you who have a seriously modified frame, figure out how much cash and how much time....... it might come out in the long run

Re: Will there be a market for this?
They replied to my e-mail inquiry saying that they had a full frame design in the works for our trucks. It is in the design stage with no timetable as to availability.
I jes' wanted to make sure they weren't jes' making front spndles or something. I like knowing that the aftermarket is expanding for our vehicles. |
