Now there's a truck with personality! I like it. I'm curious, are the bumper guards from a Chevy passenger car?

Most cool, looks like you really dont have to fret about it being in the parking lot at the Home Depot for the door ding a-holes.

Re: a diffrent kind of parts truck(one piece at a time )

I like it, I would like to see a better shot of the front&grille.
my next build is getting one of those early gmc hoods.
I have a 64 that came factory with the metal banded windows.
I found one gmc in the junkyard with 50+ trucks, and it had one of those windows...
some guys thought that they were a big truck option, I haven't had a chance to look over many of those...
aerotruk63 also posted some literature that made me think that the laminated glass was an option on a passenger truck, curious thing is,the laminated cost more to add as an option, so I don't know why anyone would have opted for it.

thanks for the info. i bought the doors from txfirefighter so i never seen the truck they came from. so it could be off a bigger truck or some thing of that nature.

I love the concept of putting something together with what you had..We do that with our stock car and it always turns out great with white paint on it!

Yes, an interesting truck.....
yet my eyes are drawn to the short fleetside with the big back window there in the background.
