pcm location

getting everything ready for my ls1 swap. motor mounts came in today. now I am trying to get my wiring harness. I would like to see where you guys put your pcm. pics would be nice. also has anyone put theirs under the seat? This would seem like the most out of the way place. if so what harness did you use.

Re: pcm location

I mounted mine in the factory location (driver front) using the factory mount. See my thread for more info.

Re: pcm location

I put mine under the seat along with the TAC module & fuse block. I wanted it all hidden for a cleaner look. I like it there so far, but I haven't put many miles on it yet.

Re: pcm location

Mines a Vortec 454 and not a Lsx but I put my pcm under the dash. If you buying a aftermarket harness make sure to have them add 2 or 3 more feet to the harness if your going to mount it under the seat. Theres no way my harness would have reached....
