aftermarket shackles
these are the shackles that i have in my 87my leaf spring measure 52 inches the frame to the bed is cut where the shackles hit it still has the bump stop rubber thing on it , it hits hard when i hit a bump it only has two leaf springs the big main one and im guessing the smallest last one ok so what i want to know is what drop are the shackles they measure 8in and if i put the other leafs back is it going to raise it back up im trying to get a 6 drop in back or do i have to buy some thing else also if i take the bump stop is it going to drop more.thanks alot for ya help

you'll need spring hangers they'll lower the rear a little over a inch and a half

Why don't you flip the front hanger? It will give you another 1' or so.

the thing is that i think it is at a 6inch drop but what i want to know is if I put the leafs back on there will it raise it back up and the bump stops do i take them off also by flipping the front hanger you mean takin it off and actually flipping it bottom up
