JB Conversion has the LoMax. Its a new case for the NP205 that bolts to the back of the 4L60e without the need of an adapter. It keeps the overall length shorter but its not a budget part.... just an option...

could you just use a later transfer case that mates up with your 4L60?
If you're even half way interested in AWD....the NVG-149 is an awesome piece (street, sand, rain, snow, ice, mud....but not rocky terrain) that doesn't require a shifter or electronics.

The later transfer cases drop on the wrong side.

I have an adapter on my 700-R4 that allows me to run my 205 on it. Was fairly reasonable and the only problem I had was making up the front drive shaft since the CV joint hits the pan on the tranny. 20 bucks at the junkyard and 40 at the machine shop, problem solved.

241c comes both ways, Aluminum case chain driven, their strong but not bomb proof.
Donor vehicles, passenger side on blazers and burbs. Drivers side for the IFS vehicles.
