The German,... here's a picture of the PerformanceOnLine tie rod sleeves I have on my 69.
I sent you a PM with the part numbers. Just remember,... you have to use 67-70 outer tie rods,... in the inner tie rod location. (The thread "direction" of the tie rods changed after 1970)

Re: Tie rod sleeve problem! Help!!!
Hey guys,
I've got a similar problem. The PO put on a '95 suspension, so the tie rod stud is too thick. I'm trying to figure out if a '67 (what I've got) will bolt in, but it looks like the '95 uses the 11/16 thread. So I'm wondering what the part number for that sleeve is, and if you've got any experience with whether that setup (or anything else will work)? I've already changed the ball joints, and made a couple minor grinder-related adjustments to the control arm which I'll post later. Trying not to sink a ton more money into this thing right now ... Thanks! |

Re: Tie rod sleeve problem! Help!!!
Are you sure they are '95 parts?
I've never heard of using '88-'98 suspension parts on these trucks. Can you explain exactly what you have? Pics would be even better. Posted via Mobile Device
