ECE Super trac-bar adjsutment

Finished installing the rear components and now need to center the rear end. Does anyone know how much lateral movement you get for a full turn of the adjustable end?

Re: ECE Super trac-bar adjsutment

The easy way to adjust the arm, (which must be done at ride height),... is to place the rear axle on jack stands, and center the rearend with the arm disconnected.

I use a ratchet strap from the frame to the axle tube to pull the frame to center the rearend.
(measure from a drum backing plate to the frame on each side)
Once you have the rearend centered,... adjust the threaded end of the Super Track Bar, so the mounting bolt will just slide thru the mount.

Seems like it's easier to pull the truck left to right, while the rearend is on jackstands.

Last job before an alignment tomorrow was to center the rear end. Thanks for the above post...Worked perfectly!
