Use master cylinder/booster out of '79 camaro??

Hey guys, im trying to use as many parts that I have laying around as I can. Im going with a firewall mount master cyl/booster out of the '79 camaro that I got many of my build parts from. Have any of you done this? Can I see pictures? Any problems? A guy that built a '53 near me said that I would have to cut the brake pedal and move it to one side or the other. But im not sure if thats just with AD trucks or TF as well. Thanks fellas!
