Additude Adjustment
Did some work on the truck this weekend. DJM 3/5 drop anf 20/10 Boss 338 on the rear and 18/8 on the front. Tires came off My vette so I had to buy some adaptors for the different lug pattern. Im still thinking of maybe putting in a set of 1" drop springs on the front. What do yall think? Oh and some thicker tires.

Re: Additude Adjustment
Looks good, YES, 1 more inch in front, maybe 1.5 even.
A rear sport bumper and OEM tail lights will make it look even better.

I thought about cutting the spring but 1" springs are cheap enough and if im gonna put the effort into pulling the 25 year old springs out i might as well put some new ones in. I had to do a slight toe adjustment so an alighnment is on the list too. Man the list never ends does it!! LOL

Re: Additude Adjustment
Looking good. Yes, I agree eventually on some taller rubber and the drop coil...I'd measure compared to stock on the front. Might want to do a 2" coil as the factory coil might already have sagged close to an inch...

Thanks for all the compliments everyone. This took me longer this weekend than i figured it would have cause i had to replace all 4 ball joints. But if your in there you might as well do it right while its apart. Ya know.

Re: Additude Adjustment
this is the son's truck. We are working on getting the Boss wheels mounted. I finally have the whole mess figured out and the center caps are of no problem either.

Re: Additude Adjustment
Nice!! I wished my paint looked that good. My center caps would not be an issue if I could find them LOL. I put them in a box before i moved and have no idea where they are now. I only have the 1" rotors so not a big deal with them regardless but since they were the small chevy corvette bolt pattern I had to use adaptors which also made it not problem. Eventually im putting in a narrowed rear end with an IFS coil over front and will be going with a set of Coys more than likely. But till I have the fundage for that I made due with what I had laying around the house. Gotta find some center caps though. I ordered some from the Boss or American Wheels whatever their name is but when they didnt show up for a couple weeks I had to call and ask about them only to find out they cancelled my order cause they didnt have any in stock and they were backordered.

Re: Additude Adjustment
We have the 1.25" rotors, but I put on a 1/4" spacer and longer front studs. I also ground down the front hub's metal where the dust cap fits. There is plenty of room now.
Summit racing shows that they have the center caps on hand.

Re: Additude Adjustment
I looked at that too but it also says they ship from the factory on them. Ill probably order from them with a few other things when I get some more fundage. Trying to find some locally first though.

Re: Additude Adjustment
That front end combo is not that common, so I would leave it. An old member here called Swervin Ervin had a white truck with the same front end. It really stood out from the others.

Re: Additude Adjustment
HMM interesting thought. I figured there were tons of them since it was a base model option for these trucks.

Re: Additude Adjustment
I like it! The front end you have looks good. But I have to agree with others on the rear bumper and tail lights. A tucked in sport bumper would look killer.

Re: Additude Adjustment
I'm in agreement with the tail lights. They were on there when i got the truck and they work so that's kind of a bottom of the list thing. I need to go to the pull a part in Memphis to see what I can find down there. I need a sway bar for the front and a instrument panel with the silver layer on it. My temp gauge is broke so I figured I would just get the fancier one maybe with a tac if i can find it.
