20,000 Posts now and looking forward to more
Update: Just hit 20K posts and decided to bring this one back up top
Update: Just hit 15K posts and decided to bring this one back 8/7/2011 I just noticed I'm at the 10,000 post mark. I want to post a quick thank you to Liz and Josh for starting and running this excellent board, the team leaders and volunteer staff for their work keeping it running smoothly, the many vendors/high octane guys on here who've helped me source parts and also help support this board; and last but DEFINITELY NOT least...the many members here who are extremely knowledgeable about these trucks....and always willing to share their information!!! I truly enjoy the 67-72 truck "family" here and have recently considered taking this from a hobby to a full time job (since I was just laid off for the second time in a year due to the economy). I know (because of the current economy) it won't be to make a lot of money; but I truly enjoy working on these trucks and buying/selling/horse trading the parts and just plain "talking trucks". I've learned so much and have been able to score some excellent deals because of what I've learned....as well as stay away from some deals I would have jumped on w/out the info I've learned on this board. I've been able to pass this info on to people in my area when they come for parts. I've tried to pass on the info I've learned on the board...whenever I see people asking the same questions I did when I first joined. I truly learn something every day and look forward to learning more. Here's to the next 20,000 posts! Adding this in too Quote:

Re: 10,000 Posts and looking forward to more
Wow...10,000+ posts is quite an achievement. I'm a few behind you, but I sure have enjoyed being on the site, have read a lot, and I've had a lot of questions answered. Been at this a while, but I'm always impressed by how much knowledge there is among the people on this site and by how willing people are to share that knowledge.

j/k....kinda You're at 14.92 posts per day (WOW!) I'm only at 9.33/day Post count doesn't mean all that much to me other than a milestone I happened to notice. Many with much less than 10,000 posts contribute FAR more than I ever will. Although some (insert long time board member names here since I don't want to forget anyone and have hurt feeligns ) ...have the post count because of all the information they've contributed.

Re: 10,000 Posts and looking forward to more
I didn't notice the volunteer staff question before....there is a place to submit an application on the main forum page. Fill that out and when there is a need that suits you, the staff will contact you and see if you are still interested.

Holy cow you had a busy year! I tried to get my posts up to 10k on my ten year anniversary here on the board and I just didn't have enough to say (hard to believe I know lol).
Congrats again ... you are a real asset to the board!
