performance front break caliper

I have a 85 chevy burb that i am looking to find options for front break calipers. I would like to have some that are better then stock. Looked at summit and they did not list anything. I know someone has to sell them. Any one have any on there truck and are they worth the extra money?

Re: performance front break caliper

That is what i was thinking. Do you have them or just know they work. Cause i need something that will hold better i pushed breaks just about as hard is i could and pushed on gas and the truck moved.

Re: performance front break caliper

Take a look in our Vendor Marketplace. Several of our Forum Vendors offer the Wilwood D52 replacement calipers.

You have a problem with your current brakes then. I'd fix them rather than trying to throw expensive parts at it and likely still have the underlying issue. GM truck brakes are outstanding to begin with.

Re: performance front break caliper

I have all parts except for front pads and calipers to replace everything but the hoses and master. My truck will actually out break wifes 98 toyota avalon with 4 wheel disc breaks. Just was looking for options.
