Question Side Fuel tank/Body lift

Ok so my truck had a 2 inch body lift when i got it, and that lets the side fuel tank hang down below the body and i hate that! Anybody moved the tank up? is that possible? or should i look into moving it between the frame rails in the back??

Re: Side Fuel tank/Body lift

if you have a dremel and drills and tools like that no .. just take the bed off leave the bumper on or put something on the frame to keep it square when you remove the cross members on the pickup

you could just use the old crossmember and slide them in the right positions. I had to to relocate the rear brake bracket for it to.

those rivets were a real PITA though
