230 I6 Engine ID

My 64 C10 has a remanufactured engine with F07I7N stamped on the block. The casting number is 3788406 (62-69) 230 I6. I haven't been able to determine from what year and model is from. Can someone help?

Re: 230 I6 Engine ID

If I can add a stupid newbie question to this thread...
Mine's stamped 3877178 so that's "Chevrolet / Buick / Oldsmobile / Pontiac / GMC 62 - 78 230, 250 ".
How would I go about figuring out which it actually is?

I know this is a very old post, so here I go.
Bad put up the same thing you-(hex7f7f7f) did to show that your Inline 6cyl was used in all those GM (B-O-P & Chevy) Vehicle's.
Just in case another newbe reads this in the future they will have a better understanding.
