Blazer tank: will it fit?
I'd like to put a Blazer fuel tank in my '73 C-10. I have access to an '83 Blazer for parts, so I crawled under it and measured the tank at 28 and change inches square. I measured between the frame rails in my C-10, and while I know the rear crossmember has to be moved, the distance between the frame rails is only 27.5" (approximately; it was a few days ago that I was under it).
So I guess my questions are two fold: 1. Am I inept at measuring and a Blazer tank really does fit? 2. Was there a running change to either the width of the frame rails in the C-10 or width of Blazer fuel tanks? Posted via Mobile Device |
