anyone ever use CPP brake conversion lines?
Anyone ever use CPP brake conversion lines for their disc brake conversion? Like a total <explative removed> tard I ordered the wrong part. I meant to order the conversion hoses which are the section below them. Damn their difficult to find parts website!!!!
So here are my questions 1.) Is this kit any good/worth using? (I.E. are the bends somewhat accurate, flares good, and correct lengths) 2.) Does it really use 73-87 brake hoses? (their tech said yes...but he also said 71, so I want a 2nd opinion) 3.) Where can I find brake line clips to mount the line to the frame/crossmember? (tech said that the lines are in the 73-87 location at the front of the crossmember not the 60-66 on the rear of the crossmember)

Re: anyone ever use CPP brake conversion lines?
AFAIK the one I got just has the prebent lines. I haven't opened it up yet to check...probably should do that. I thought about returning it but the 20% restocking feel plus my dime to ship it back just isn't worth it.
I still need to get some clips for my frame anyways to run my fuel line from the rear to the front. My solution I have right now is...um...ghetto to say the least but it works. I'll give them a look. I'd like to get them locally if possible but mail order is my fall back I'll start digging for that thread too. Thanks for the heads up on it.

Re: anyone ever use CPP brake conversion lines?
I bought a kit from CPP as well. It was drop shipped as well. I bought some nice ss fuel line and clips that I had to drill and tap the frame for 10-32. Turns out very nice that way. 3/8 fuel line from front to back at a local tubing place cost me $109 and I had to bend it. I also put a connecter in the middle so you can get it in the frame after its bent.
