Do I have a low hump or a high hump?
I am looking at carpet for my 65 C10 short fleet and the vendor ask if I need the low hump or high hump carpet. How can I tell which I have?

Re: Do I have a low hump or a high hump?
the transmission tunnel is about 6-8 inches tall on the high, the low is almost flat, usually automatic and 3 speed trucks have the low hump

Re: Do I have a low hump or a high hump?
The high hump is like 10" high, not good for the feet of a center passenger, and I believe all of the ones I have seen are bolt in. the low hump is fairly flat and on mine it has a step toward the seat that looks like you could put a high hump on it, but there are no bolt holes. Mines in the shop so I can't look at it. You could find at least one other thread on here that I can recall.

Re: Do I have a low hump or a high hump?
Post #5 on the following thread shows the difference between high and low humps. To the best of my knowledge all high humps bolt in. Most low humps are welded in place, although some do bolt in. The bolt in low humps are not interchangeable with the high version.
