Re: airride compressor problems

I would contact our board vendors, in the "Suspension Marketplace".
They seem to be very knowledgeable on these subjects.
I'm going to use a pair of the Viair 400's on my next bagged truck.
Member way2lo2 has an April Special going on right now.
He can fix you up with whatever you need, for a great price.

Re: airride compressor problems

on the black thomas compressor there is a reed valve that seats inside the compressor head, some times they lose there tension and will go bad which will cause air to leak back through the compressor head and not build pressure. to replace the reed all you have to do is remove the (4) bolts from the top of the compressor head, remove the top portion of the compressor head, then you will see the reed valve which is a flat metal flap held down by (1) screw, remove the screw, replace reed and you are good to go....

Re: airride compressor problems

Sounds pretty simple Jon. Where would be the best source for the reed valve?
