Rear end for 57 truck
I have the stock 6 lug rear end. Nobody makes axles that I could pop in that would give me the 5 lug pattern I'm looking for?
I haven't measured it yet but it appears a mid 70s camaro rear end will work and a 4x4 s10 also? Just want to know in case i run into one that i can get for cheap and use later... Tried the search function here but it doesn't seem to work. Same threads come up regardless of what I enter to search???

Re: Rear end for 57 truck
I used an 79 firebird gm 10 bolt with 3.08 ratio, striped it down and welded on a parallel 4 link with a ssbc disc brake converision.Which i have a extra ssbc disc brake kit availble if your looking for one also, its the ssbc A125-6.

Re: Rear end for 57 truck
Have you thought about seeing if someone like Strange or Currie could make new axles that fit in the bolt pattern you want?

I tried that. I believe my stock axles are like a 17 spline or something and neither moser, strange or currie makes anything like that anymore. They're all more than happy to sell me a complete 'bolt on' rear end for like 3k though...
