20X10 Coys $500.00

Two 20X10 Coys chrome C-5. Backspace is 5 inches. Great fit for the narrower early 70 and below rearends. They have never been run but they have been mounted.

Pay special attention to the mounting holes, the inside have scrathes from the socket when they were mounted. They also have inserts in the stud holes. After i finally got them after about 8 weeks and noticed the inserts i called Coys and they were unwilling to replace the wheels and said that is how all of the 5 inch backspace wheels are. There is also a very small crack in the chrome close to the center cap. The chrome is not loose and i do not believe it will peel.

If i need to ship i can take to the UPS store. The boxes are 23X23X12.5 and weigh about 40lbs each. My zip code is 75077 so calcualte your own shipping.

I live in Highland Village Texas and can possibly meet someone around North Dallas or North Fort Worth if needed. I can also bring to Pate at the Texas Motor Speadway next week end if preplanned. I do plan to go but i will not be bringing anything to sell.

Post here if you want them. NO PMs please.

I believe this has something to do with the inserts. Here is a picture when they were mounted on my 67 for test fit. The 67 was the original narrow six lug converted to 5X5 with redrilled axles.

Re: 20X10 Coys $500.00

Now that they are pretty well spoken for... what's the plan for a replacement wheel? Were these off the '70 or a new project ('67)?

No wheel plans yet.... Maybe Salt Flats. The 5 inch backspace wheels are off of the 67 project which i still have. I bought the 70 in a week moment as it just cought my eye just right. I was hoping the 70 had the narrow rear but it did'nt so i used the fronts off of the 67 and bought the 5.5 inch back space for the wide rear.

The 67 spent at least a year in a "friends" paint jail until i got pissed and picked it up. I blew my truck budget on the 70 so I am looking for a new body guy and building up funds to get back on track.

Steering is all new
Suspension is all new
Rearend is new with Eaton posi and 3.73
Brakes are new
Motor is new - Fastburn 385
Trans is new - 4L60E with Compushift controller
All new Wiring - not installed
I am stuck on the body and should hae never taken it down this far

Killer project!

We need to see a build thread on its progress though.
