Air management kits?
I am currently building a 68 shortbox. I am running dropmembers front and rear.
My question is, What type of air management systems are you guys running? I would prefer to purchase a kit rather than piece a system together, as I am new to air suspension. I have been looking at both Accuair and Ridetech products. I would like to hear what people like/dislike about thier systems. Thanks Jason

Re: Air management kits?
I have heard great things about both brands. Personally I can only speak about Ride Tech. I have had a few of their systems and never had an issue. I would not hesitate to buy another one when needed.

Re: Air management kits?
I have never heard a bad thing about either one ever. Both are well known and make good stuff it comes down to budget and the controls on them.Ridetechs big controler is nice but to flashy to me i like accuairs better its small looks more like a radio remote on a wire.

Re: Air management kits?
The new Ride Tech display is awesome, you just need to find a good location for it. One feature that the new display offers is amazing visibility. They state "Transflective display uses sunlight to illuminate. the brighter the sun, the brighter the display". Unlike the previous LCD display, that was hard to read in the bright sun.
The The Accuair control is a slick piece, but doesn't provide any system info.

Re: Air management kits?
I'm not sure how many total, but it covers the entire system. If you have low voltage, it won't let the compressors turn on. If you have a components failure it tells you. If you have a sensor failure, that comes up. There are others too, but thats the short list.
Almost any display looks great at night, but that one is has very soothing light. The big difference is what it looks like during the day. The more direct the sunlight, the more contrasting the display becomes. Its hard to explain with out a good pic but trust me it works very well. I talked with Bret and told him how impressed I was with the display over the previous LED unit. He told me how much was spent in development, and I almost choked on my Coke. They spent large quantities of what Bret termed as "Some of my favorite dollars" on getting this thing right. I can say with out a doubt those dollars were very well spent.

Re: Air management kits?
Well, I don't have any experience with Ridetech stuff, I'm sure it's of good quality. However I can vouch for Accuair. I have their E-level system on one of my vehicles and it has worked perfect since day one.
I'm sure you can't go wrong with either system.

And you wonder why your trucks not done... Haha, just messing with you cheby. To the OP, I don't have either of the 2, but I've been in cars with both now. I have to say they are both awesome. The only advice I can give on picking would be either the cost or which controller you like better. Other than that, you can't go wrong.

Re: Air management kits?
Good choice. I have nothing against the other brand, but I prefer the accuair controller. If I had the $, my blazer would have their system.
