New to this area....my new 54
A few years ago I went to look at a 1941 Chevrolet Special Deluxe 2 door car for sale here locally. This truck was there also. Old man died and wife was selling everything. I bought the car and passed the truck along to a bud. 4 years later he has done nothing with the truck so its my turn. I go pick it up this weekend.

Great looking truck.
54-55 (first series) are my favorites of the 47-55 trucks.

The truck is nice but it's the beer on the passenger side that would have sold me!

Re: New to this area....my new 54
It's quite an experience the first time out!
Congratulations, enjoy the wind in your hair! My thoughts were like: "did I remeber to adjust the brakes enough?", "is the transmission cooler line attached?", "did i thighten the clamps on the fuel line enough?"..... Then you just say screw it and see what she'll do! |
