Re: AD 48 Burb seats Help !!

what kind of seats are you using?i have not seen a power seat track the flips up.because i wanted a power one also.i bought and am going to try a late model passanger jeep wrangler seat track.they flip forward and up.but they are manual. the only thing you need to do is run a short bicycle brake cable under the track to get it to work without the jeep seat.i am going to try it in a couple weeks and will post pics if it works. you could also try a 2 door tahoe or 2 door s10 blazer seat track. they are hard to find. i think they go pretty far forward. my friend has a 2 door tahoe that i can take a look at. but are manual also. i have 67 to 72 k-5 blazer buckets i am putting in my burb. but they only hinge forward and dont tilt back. same as our stock ones do. if the jeep one doesnt work i know the k-5 passanger one will work. i was going to try 2 mid 80s corvette seat tracks. they are thin and you could mount one on top of the other, if you wanted power forward.if i was going to do it again. i would have used the stock 60/40 my friend had for sale. the only thing i would have to do is remove the full length factory untility style box that mounts under the front seats and put in the passanger style 60 box.so the passanger seat can flip up right. o well
