73-87 3" djm lower control arms
i was just wondering if anyone has has heard, or has had any experience with djm 3" lower control arms? i know it will give you less ground clearance, but what would be any more drawbacks? also how do you think this would work with their 3" spindles and 20 inch wheels.

Re: 73-87 3" djm lower control arms
Tehy tell you not to use drop spindles with drop arms because it puts the lower control arm way to close to the ground and its dangerous. I used upper and lower arms with drop springs and it turned out great. My front tires are 18s but are the exact same heighth as the stock ones. I cant go any lower without cutting fenders or putting on smaller tires. The alignment shop said it was the best lowering setup they had aligned yet.

Re: 73-87 3" djm lower control arms
I live 8 miles from DJM...talked to the owner numerous times, cool dude. I wouldnt recommend using lower A arms with spindles. I`d say go spindles and srpings if you are just looking for a drop. If your A arms arent bent tere isnt a reason to replace them in my opinion.
If you want your under carriage to look better, take off the arms and get them powder coated. Best look you`ll get (btw replace all the bolts and bushings imo). Good luck, let us know how you you make out. |

If you want to go with bags I'd honestly look at some different a arms. I love djm products but there are other a arms out there that'll give you more ground clearence.
