Bed mounts for incomplete 1 ton

Recently bought this 1981 1ton 4x4 to flip. It did not have a bed on it when we got it & after decoding the VIN found out it never did (3rd digit B = incomplete).
Trying to decide whether or not to put a bed on it before selling (found one on Craigslist for $75!). But got to looking & I don't see any body mounts on the frame for a bed....did cab & chassis not have bed mounts at all? Would I have to cut some off a donor truck to make it work?

Re: Bed mounts for incomplete 1 ton

There are no bed mounts for squares. Bed lays right on frame.

The bed just bolts to the frame rails the holes should allready be there. There is no bed mounts. The bed bolts thorough the bed frame rails to the frame. If you want hole measurements from cab let me no. My body is of the frame right now.

I can see the back bed mounting holes in the pictures on your frame.

Re: Bed mounts for incomplete 1 ton

The only issue you may have is that some c&c have longer frame rails than a long bed to acomidate work beds.

From the rear of the frame to the center of the rear cab mount should measure 99 1/2" with a CC and a long box
