a couple questions

i want to add the original tach and vacuum gauges in their respective places in my dash cluster. my truck still has the original 230 six do you think these gauges will work fine with the six?

also the truck came with three on the tree and now it has the th350. the gear indicator is for the power glide do you know if they make an indicator with L , 2 , and D that will look good on the 65 column. thank you

Re: a couple questions

markeb01 has a great thread on Sun Tach's
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=392461

The vaccum gauge will work on the six no problem.

1966 had an optional 3 speed automatic. This gear selector prism may not line up with the newer 3 speed positioning however. Perhaps if you look in the 67-72 restoration places you might find a 3 speed clear prism for your shifter but I'm not sure it was the same style, anyone have an idea?

Re: a couple questions

I'm going to be dealing with that same issue, but with a 700R4. I don't think there's enough room in the lens for that many gears.
