One Piece Front End

I am contemplating a one piece front end. Fiberglass (USbody) is too expensive. Has anyone here made one from their stock pieces? How easy or hard? Hinges? Good idea or bad idea? How do they hold up and fit?

Thanks for the help.

Re: One Piece Front End

Got just what you need
58 all bolted together
lower part front fender
cut at angle
sturdy hinges
and who ever did it did pretty good job
will get pictures tomorrow or next day
it is heavy but tilts smoothly
lines up very well when closed
I will also take pictures of hinges
I would get big truck straps to hold it closed
May at least give youi some ideas
