Nathaniel as laid claim!!!
Yesterday, my wife Wendy, my youngest son Nathaniel, age 4 1/2, and I went to a great all weekend show just west of Richmond, Field day of the Past. If you are in the area you should try to go this weekend, it is a great event. We took my 1976 K10 swb. I had planned to put a For Sale sign on the truck while it was at the show. As I was parking the truck a guy was looking at it and was impressed with how it sounds. I told him the truck was for sale and we started talking and I gave him the tour. While I did this Wendy and Nathaniel started to walk off to keep him busy. When I caught up with them, Nathaniel was all upset and was telling Wendy she didn't understand and he was mad. He was face down on the gravel sidewalk, hysterical. We finely figured out that he was upset about me talking about selling "his" truck. So it looks like I have a 11 year lease on the K10. A little later that day he told Wendy that I would need to get my stuff out of his truck when he was big enough to drive it!!! The added bonus to all this is that when the next truck comes along this one won't count against my quota, It's Nathaniel's!!!!!!!!!!

I was at that show! Cool stuff going on there. I think I saw your truck but it must have been closed up at the time. I brought my 5 yo son and 15 yo daughter. She wanted the VW van, he wanted everything else. Guess which one worries me more.

Re: Nathaniel as laid claim!!!
I have 3 boys, the two older ones don't care much this stuff, but the little one more than makes up for it. Yes that is my truck, at least for the next 11 years. The guys with the Bronco wanted to hear it run and it didn't want to start. It never gives me any trouble, I guess it didn't like being next to a Ford. This was my 15th year attending Field Day of the Past, we look forward to it every year. I worked like crazy to get my Dad's 1952 IH L110 pick-up there but we just ran out of time.

I love the 70's K-series trucks, and I'm glad to see a young buck that does, too! Your truck is awesome, gotta love the two round lights.

Re: Nathaniel as laid claim!!!
Thanks Guys!!! It's really cool that Nathaniel is so into cars & trucks. My Dad is now, but when I was a kid I was on my own with this stuff.
