Small hump to large hump

I have the small hump, appears to be part of the cab and not unboltable. I was told I need the large hump as I have the porterbuilt setup. i do not currently have a large hump to use as a template so can someone explain a decent idea of where i can cut out the small hump and not cut out to much?

if you are going to convert to a factory high hump out of another truck, it will fit, you need to drill the spot welds all the way around the perimeter of your current small hump. most high humps bolt in on the rear piece, and the front cowl piece is spot welded in. you can either bolt in both new pieces, or weld them in.

if you cant source a factory high hump, I would just suggest trimming the low hump until it clears the transmission, and then fabricating a cover out of sheet metal.
