AccuAir... does airline size matter?
Just wondering if running 1/2" hardline with my AccuAir e-level setup would matter as far as the ecu being able to control the leveling properly?

i dont think the ecu will have a problem but it will be harder to pin point your height presets with the larger volume. so it may adjust many times to get it where you set it too...unless you run some type of valve to each line to restrict the speed in which the air is distributed or removed, Just hardline 3/8 or even 1/4 that way the ecu will be accurate and precise with less need to keep adjusting itself to the presets. just my2 cents

Re: AccuAir... does airline size matter?
belowme51 is correct.
I ran 1/2" lines from the tank to the ECU and split the line with a "T" so I was using both inlet ports. 3/8's to the bags. If you use the height sensing feature it will over compensate. I turned this feature off because the compressor was always filling and it would throw the stablility off in corners. I dont have any other issues with the line size, otherwise. |
