Instrument panel bezels

I have an 84 Chevy pickup that I need to replace the instrument cluster bezel in. I was looking in one of my catalogs today and found one to fit an 89-91 chevy pickup. I have always thought that everything changed in 88. However the picture is identical to the ones for an 81-87 except for where the radio mounts. The whole in that particular one was rectangular. I mean it wasn't the smaller rectangal with the two round wholes for the radio knobs. It looked more like the one I have in my truck now because I had to cut that hole out to house my new stereo. I am wondering if some of the suburbans kept some of the older styling after 87. I looked at one real quick in the junk yard today and I didn't know it wasn't an 87 until I saw the front end. The lights and grille were totally different. My question is can I put one of these bezels in my 84 because, otherwise I have to buy a new one and cut it with the dremel which is not a good thing. Actually that's why I need a new one cause I got a little over zealous with the dremel due to the fact that I have always hated the way my stereo is mounted. Does anyone know what I am talking about? If so please tell me!

I know what you're talking about. My blazer came from the factory with that bigger radio slot in the dash/instrument cluster bezel. If you can find one of those it will bolt right up and will save you from cutting the bezel again.

Yes any 88-91 Blazer, Jimmy and Suburban bezel will fit your '84. Especially since the wiper switch was move the column.
