What does a dually bed look like with the fenders removed?

What does a dually bed look like with the fenders removed? Are there holes, brackets, or trim on the outside of the bed? Is the inside of the bed the same as a standard bed? If any one has any pictures of a dually bed with the fenders off that would be a big help. I'm thinking of temporarily running a dually bed on a single rear wheel truck. Are they difficult to remove?

Thanks for your help!

Here you go. They are a little tough to remove. A ton of 1/2 inch wrench nuts.

Long thin wrench, like a tappet wrench, makes it a whole lot easier. Also easier to do with it upside down like I did.

However the wheeling opening is larger on the dually bed.

...and there's a filler piece in there that keeps the wheels from slinging the double-wall bedsides full of crap. Gotta have that!!!

Yes a ratchet wrench is a must. Weld a long steel extension on it. Makin it a custom long wrech, to get the corners. It does help.

Re: What does a dually bed look like with the fenders removed?

I took one to a sheetmetal shop and had a reverse made for the opposite side, they're kinda hard to find singly. I think I paid $25...

I'm missing one of these as well... Anyone know what it's actually called aside from "filler piece?" Trying to figure out what to search for on the internet!

Any pictures of them? Thanks!

I just noticed one of mine was missing Sunday! At least now I know why the bed makes so much noise.
