What size inline fuse?

Hey guys as the title states what amp fuse are you guys running as a inline fuse that are running dual viair 480's.

you run relays not fuses for compressors

Right I have the two 40 amp relays that came with the compressors but the diagram that came with the compressors shows a inline fuse but don't state what size.

well I never ran fuses but if you want to you can run a 40amp fuse I guess. If your pulling more than that it will burn up the relay.

That's true, I guess I could use a 80 amp fuse beings there is two 40 amp relays. Its cheaper to replace a fuse than a relay. Does that sound about right? And thank you for your help. Anyone else have any input on this?
