Opinions of CPP 3/5 coil drop?
wanted to get some opinions of how good the 3/5 drop coil kit is from cpp. ive looked at spindles and all that, but really dont want to convert the '70 to disc brakes yet, dont have that kinda time and money. i was looking at their kit and its a decent price. and it has what i need. i just wanted to see if people have had good experiences with the kit, ride, etc, problems, parts breaking wearing out. im 19 so ride quality isnt #1 on my list. but, i would like to have a clean lowered short bed. thanks in advance.

Re: Opinions of CPP 3/5 coil drop?
I bought a 68 LWB that has this setup on it. I think the back sits a little lower than the front, the rear axle hits the frame when I go over any moderate bump faster than 25-30 mph (the bump stops were removed), the front hits the bump stops over significant bumps/dips in the road. I put ~400 lbs of junk in the back and hit the frame every 30 seconds. In short, I don't like it at all, it looks great through. Keep in mind the shocks look very old, are full length, and do not use relocaters. If the other suspension components were updated/relocated it might not be as bad.

Spend your money on the disc brake swap first.
Then drop it later, when you have more cash.

I second that... Save your money n do the brakes. It's not that hard or time consuming.
