LS swap with hydroboost question

I recently purchased a 2006 5.3, a 700 r4, and a cable throttle body.So I have to order a flywheel spacer and motor mount plates and i'm ready to get going.
My 1990 CC is equipped with hydroboost and I would love to retain it. The pumps are not the same one has 3 lines (HB) and the 5.3 has 2 , has anyone ever dealt with this before?
Is this do-able?

Thanks
Keith

Re: LS swap with hydroboost question

the truck engines didn't all come with hydroboost pumps. My 6.0 had the hydroboost pump already on it, which has the correct 3 lines. IIRC they can be swapped out from another modern truck, you'd just have to buy the right pump.

Thre are some GM flywheels that don't require spacers. I think that the th400 and the 700r4 are the same. If so, I have a new one here that I won't be using. I ended up using a 4L60E trans

I have an extra set of adapter plates too

Re: LS swap with hydroboost question

You can use a non-HB pump, just T the return lines together.
