Post looking for an unrusted driver side saddle tank for 82 4x4

stepdads fuel tank on his 82 short fleet K1-10 has rot holes in it on the top front end, its trash, rust monster has struck a bunch more times on the truck lately, thanks to accelerating rust the bed, rockers, doors, etc are trashed

anyone got a tank for him near central IL ?
If so, then call Paul at 217 732 9204 or email me

Randy, FYI, Hollanders shows the Auxiliary tank is the same as the primary tank. The following 20 gal tanks can be used:
CHEVROLET PICKUP TRUCK 82-86 20 gal., gas
CHEVROLET PICKUP TRUCK 87 gasoline, 20 gal., carb.
CHEVROLET PICKUP TRUCK 88-91 VIN models "R/V", gasoline, carb.
GMC PICKUP TRUCK 82-86 20 gal., gas
GMC PICKUP TRUCK 87 gasoline, 20 gal., carb.
GMC PICKUP TRUCK 88-91 VIN models "R/V", gasoline, carb.

It shows the TBI tanks as being different.

I might be wrong but do SWB trucks use 16 gallon tanks and LWB trucks use 20 gallon? I have a 16 gallon I am trying to get rid of, if the previous post is right (both side tanks being the same) it should work for you. It is a rust/leak free tank off my '73 and you can even have the straps, brackets, sender, and bolts. I live in Minneaplois, MN.

would hahve to know for sure if the tank would bolt into his truck being that its out of an older model. Looks like only 82-86 iwll work for him.
