I have a two wire plug and a four wire one? Does it matter what alternator I use? The harness I'm having converted is 4 wire plug.. either one easier than the other in the conversion?

Shouldn't really make a difference. I had the wrong connector when I got my harness, and just changed the pigtail to match. No functional difference.
