1403 Carb on 4 spd. auto
I am about to replace my worn out QJet with a Edelbrock 1403 on my 305, 4spd. automatic. I know I need the spreadbore to squarebore adaptor, but will the automatic kick down cable from the tranny hook to the linkage or do I have to get a kit for that to?

Re: 1403 Carb on 4 spd. auto
If you have a 4 speed auto trans. then it should not have a kickdown cable. I think you are thinking of the tv cable.

Re: 1403 Carb on 4 spd. auto
Thank you for the correction. Will any additional brackets be needed?
