A/C continues to run when "Vent" selected
Vehicle: 1990 Suburban
Yesterday as I was driving, I noticed that very cold air was coming out of the vents even with "vent" selected on the controls. I started investigating and the only way I can get the compressor to disengage is to select "heater" on the controls. How can I fix this problem?

Re: A/C continues to run when "Vent" selected
Mine does the same thing. I never cared too much as I don't need to use the vent setting, as my vents are always on for some reason. This is a "feature" that I actually like. I like the ability to have the defrost or floor on at the same time as the vents. If I need more air flow to the defrost or floor I just close the louvres on the vents.
