Mark 8 elec fan installed

Here's my Mark VIII electric fan installed. I'm using a big block radiator and shroud. I cut down the ford shroud so it would fit inside the chevy shroud, then drilled out 4 holes and bolted them together. Wired it up using a 75 amp tyco relay and some fuse link wire. Using a TS-85 fan temp switch in the pass side cylinder head with an extra relay to turn it on when the A/C is on. I also have a CS-144 alt so it has plenty of juice to run.

Looks like factory install - what was the model year of the donor Mark VIII??

Very nice. I will be installing an electric system someday soon. I like the look of yours.

Re: Mark 8 elec fan installed

I got it off ebay. I got the motor with a lifetime warranty for a 97 mark viii from autozone. When the fan is running, it will suck a sheet of paper against the grill at idle.
