'80 k10 gen6 454 swap headers

I bought some comp headers thinking they would fit my perticular application, but the drive's collector would be sitting right in the center of the frame rail in order to bolt it to the head...

We tried the motor mounts from the sbc that came out of the truck, but the were the same.

Header info from Comp says:
"69-87 Chevy/GMC Truck, 1/2,3/4 & 1-Ton, 69-91 Blazer/Jimmy/Yukon/Tahoe (4WD): 396-502"
PART #: 2463

Did I not pick the correct ones or are they engine specific?

I threw the stock manifolds back on the engine but even still the triangular flange at the end on the drivers manifold is 1/2" from touching the frame...

I'll live with what I have for now, but I'd like to know for later on when I'm ready to try headers again.
