Sweet score, dumb ?
Turns out a fella in WI has a truck with the door trim I need. Also has the rear cab piece with sails, getten it all for 300 shipped.
So heres the dumb question, I know the cab piece just kinda pulls off, but do the sails just unscrew from the cab? Sorry, never had the sails in my almost complete set so i dont know the removal process. Also if anyone would like info on the truck after I get my parts its a 60 short fleet bbw, hood has v emblem, kinda rusted out in rockers and light roof surface rust in and out.

Re: Sweet score, dumb ?
The sail pieces are secured with screws (3?) in the door jamb, and also 1 additional screw where it wraps around the back of the cab on the bottom.
If you're installing these sail panels on a truck that never had them originally, you'll have to drill these screw holes, The MOST important thing you need for the sails are the retaining clips. These clips are about 3" long are are screwed to the cab about halfway up and about a 1/2" inch from the edge. The sail has a lip on the backside that catches on the edge of the retaining clip. This engagement is what hold the entire back side of the sail trim tight to the cab. If the seller has these clips, make sure he includes them! There's a member selling a set of these on the For Sale section, and it has a great picture of the retaining clips: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=497379 Are your sail panels the ones that are original for your '60? If so, I believe that they are the very hard-to-find stainless versions, not aluminum like the later versions. Those things are cool!

Re: Sweet score, dumb ?
Thanks for the info, yes they are the original which is the main thing because they are notched to accept the skinny trim for the back of the cab, just wasn't sure about the retainer. thanks again.
