Metric vs. non-metric lug nuts question
I bought my wife a 1985 Silverado 2 years ago. We recently had the 1/2 ton 10 bolt differentials replaced with a DANA 60 and 14 bolt. When looking for wheels I found a set of 17X10 Weld wheels without centercaps. I like the look of the stock center caps from GM on the newer pick ups, so I picked up a set with lug nuts(as the center caps thread onto the lug nuts). As it turns out, the newer trucks have metric threads. The problem is, I don't want to replace all the studs with metric ones, just so the center caps work. Does anyone know if there is lug nuts with threads on both sides like the ones on the newer GM trucks?

Just to keep it interesting, here's a shot of the truck before the swap and with the old bumper:

Re: Metric vs. non-metric lug nuts question
There are aftermarket lugs available with standard thread and the outside threads to accept the plastic covers/center caps. I think they can be had on ebay, Im sure someone else will chime in with a specific guy to buy them from or something.

Lookup 9/16"-18 "dual thread" lug nuts. thats what you need. I got mine off of Ebay a few years ago.
