1980 Scottsdale dash
Anyone know where I can find a Scottsdale dash trim panel WITHOUT the a/c holes? Looked everywhere form LMC to Ebay and no luck.
Thanks! |

LMC has them in Billet Aluminum.

Re: 1980 Scottsdale dash
Thanks for the quick response! I would like to keep it as much stock as possible, so I'll check out Golden State.

No problem, I never figured those would be so hard to find.

Re: 1980 Scottsdale dash
Naw, still nothing. Might have to check the local junkyards and used parts shops. Actually, I guess any dash trim panel from '73-'80 will work. Thanks guys!

Re: 1980 Scottsdale dash
ok it seems that the badge/emblem just screws on and off...
SO like my high sierra i need to put in to the lil holes on this from http://www.classicparts.com So if you atleast have a broken setup you can remove the scottdale emblem from it and buy the black or silver one like this if you have ac etc |

Re: 1980 Scottsdale dash
The only problem with this one is that it has a/c holes. Man, this is frustrating! The one I have in there now has no emblem holes, and it has a clock where the vent hole would be on the left side. I have to assume it was aftermarket, but where the heck did it come from???
Thanks for the reply! |

Re: 1980 Scottsdale dash
Man, I've looked through both their online catalog and their paper catalog, and can only find a 1980 dash panel without a/c holes in billet. I'm looking to keep it stock. Maybe I'm missing something, can you find it and send me the link to the stock one with no a/c holes? Thanks!

Re: 1980 Scottsdale dash
Appreciate it! I just spoke with LMC. The guy said that version of trim panel has been discontinued! Guess I'll just have to check the local salvage yards.
Thanks again! |

Re: 1980 Scottsdale dash
That seems pretty stupid, why would the just discountiue that part alone? Well looks like your best bet is probably junkyards, craigslist, and ebay. Sorry to hear man that sucks.
