wiring question, probably the first of many to come in the next few months
1st of all I'm used to parting not putting back together so I need some of you guys input. I'm just trying to get my parts all lined up so when I get it back from bodyshop I have most of it ready
My blazer is a 72 4 speed with no AC, harness is not the best, but I have a real nice underdash harness out of 71 AT with no AC. My question is about the neutral safety wiring plug on the 71 AT harness, do I need to put a jumper on them or can I leave unhooked, or can I just cut them off? I've compared both harnesses and this is the only thing I see different in them. Thanks for any help, Randy

Re: wiring question, probably the first of many to come in the next few months
Randy, You will need to jumper the two purple 12ga wires. also if you want backup lights you will have to modify the two small green wires as the 4spd backup switch is on the transmission and the AT version is on the column next to the neutral safety switch connection
