help with drop
put 2" drop shackles on this morning and only got 1" of drop. measured from center of holes new shackle had more than 2" difference over the old ones, nothiing is bottoming out either, i can stand on bumper and suspension moves freely. any thoughts?

Shackles don't always give a full 2" drop. Usually a bit more than 1" but not always 2". Drive it for a bit and see if the new bushings settle some too.

Did you tighten the shackle bolts with the suspension "loaded" or "unloaded"?
All of the trucks weight, needs to be on the leaf springs when you tighten everything up.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ i agree...also make sure you dont have clearance issues with the shackles and the rear of the bed..
