sunvisor install

putting my blazer back together and ran into a problem last night. installed the sunvisor brackets on the windshield frame, then went to slide on the actual visors and realized they are too long for the bar that they slide on? ordered them from brothers. not sure if they are different than the truck ones? my other problem is that the little u clip that the bar hooks into is nowhere close to the end of the bar. the bar is supposed to clip in the little hook but the bar is way too short. very confused! please help

Re: sunvisor install

crr - the main rod in the visor is right for your application. In the other end of the visor there is an additional short rod (approx. 6") that needs to be installed to fit into the clip. I happen to have mine disassembled for restoration and could get pics if you want.

Re: sunvisor install

I just installed a set on mine and have the same problem, the rod is too short. Is this something you bought from Brothers?

I think that you can slide the rod out.
