Intakes
What is my best option for improving fuel economy and performance on my 250 ci when it comes to intakes, is it better to go with a single four barrel or multiply one barrels ( 2 or 3 )? I kind of wanted to do a three offenhauser setup, I thought that would look cool but if it's not as efficient and not any better horse power wise and can be more complicated tuning wise is it worth the trouble? Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Intakes
There a some websites dedicated to straight 6 chevy engines. Do a search for 'stovebolt'. There's love for 250's and 292's here but you will probably find more performance and economy information over there.
www.stovebolt.com/ www.stoveboltengineco.com/ Have you put an HEI in it yet? I know you asked specifically about intakes but an HEI can be had for the 6. It will improve performance/economy/driveability just like on a small block regardless of other components. An intake should be chosen carefully to match the cam exhaust etc...

Re: Intakes
I personally like the dual carb version.I think offenhauser make it but I am not 100% sure.
