Decent rattle can paint?

I am going to paint my bed on my c10 until I figure out exactly how i really want it, and want to use some satin black rattle can paint for now. I have to sand it down first pretty good cause previous owner looks like he at one time used flat black over a bed that was not sanded down. I will post some pics of what it looks like tomorrow. And also, whats a good sandpaper from rough to fine that I should use before hand? Thanks guys.

Krylon "one" rust paint and primer in one can. Has a nice fan spray pattern and covers really well compared to anything else I tried.

Re: Decent rattle can paint?

home depot sells "grafitti remover" in the isle with the cleaning supplies. The stuff takes a little time but it makes spray paint wrinkle up and then it can be wiped off or hit with a pressure washer. That will save you some time sanding back to the original paint. Depending on whats underneath i'd probably scuff the whole thing with 320 if you're just looking to get spray paint to stick and not fixing bodywork. I'd honestly go with rustoleum satin if I were to do the same thing.

krylon rust tough paint is awesome. I'm top coating my por 15 with the gloss black on the frame. Im really happy with it and may do the same thing as you. Has a great spray nozzle that gives you real nice passes....
